Football: Espérance’s Sixth Double

Espérance Sportive de Tunis secured the Tunisian Cup this afternoon, adding another trophy to their national championship for the 2024-2025 season after defeating Stade Tunisien 1-0. 

The Red and Yellow’s winning goal was scored by Onuche Ogbelu in the 67th minute of the match. With this victory, Espérance claims its sixth historic double, following those of 1989 and 1999 achieved against Club Africain and those of 1991 and 2011, secured against Étoile Sportive du Sahel.
